Using the award winning Tilly & The Buttons Billie sewing pattern we will guide you step by step as you create your dress or jumper. You will have the choice of completing your sweater on the sewing machine or overlocker and the pattern itself has so many options. There are statement or standard sleeves, you can have volume at the shoulders or not, a choice or lengths and did we mention POCKETS! What's more Billie comes in a brilliant range of sizes.
This class uses the Tilly & The Buttons Billie sewing Pattern. Tilly & the Buttons have sized this pattern UK 6 - 34. Size 6 is bust 76cm, waist 61 & hips 84cm. Size 34 is bust 152.5cm waist 134.5cm and hips 155cm. Please see this size chat in the photo gallery and contact us before booking if your measurements fall outside of this.
What's included:
We will provide you with your own copy of the Tilly & the Buttons Billie Pattern which is yours to keep and make again and again. We also provide all of the kit you need from sewing machines to pins we have everything ready and waiting for you in out brilliant studio. We also provide any interfacing and thread you need so all you need to worry about if finding the perfect fabric ! Oh and lots of tea, coffee and biscuits.
Who is this class for?
This is an adult improver dressmaking class. That means it’s not ideal as your first dressmaking class, or for complete beginners. You will need to be able to use a sewing machine and follow a seam allowance. Ideally you will have completed some beginner dressmaking projects such as our Sew a Simple range of classes. We will send you the pattern in advance for you to have the pattern and fabric cut out, ready to sew, so you will need to be comfortable with this. This class is for over 16s only.
